Barbara Perez

Ms. Perez is admitted to The Florida Bar; the United States District Courts of the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida; the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Barbara Perez is a committed and passionate advocate for her clients. Her dedication to her profession and the legal community started years ago working at the Miami office of a large law firm while working her way through college and law school. Her hard work and perseverance benefit her clients and are reflected in the results achieved on their behalf.

Barbara Perez is an AV-rated trial lawyer representing clients in federal and state class actions, and a wide-range of civil litigation matters including personal injury, products liability, and professional malpractice cases in both state and federal courts. In addition to her years of trial experience, she spent 5 years as a clerk to The Honorable Gerald B. Cope, Jr., at the Third District Court of Appeal in Miami, Florida, where she was involved in all aspects of reviewing and deciding appellate cases concerning all areas of civil and criminal law other than death penalty cases.

Ms. Perez received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law where she served on the Executive Board of the Student Bar Association, and on the Moot Court Board. She was also a Finalist in the Advanced Moot Court Competition, during which she also received the award for Best Brief. She served as Editor of The Hearsay; and was named in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.
